Grapevine is a small, spread-out community located in central Arkansas. In 1930, a school that taught first through twelfth grades was built. The school became the center of the community and served as a link between the citizens. Grapevine High School was closed during the 1980s; the elementary school soon followed in the 1990s. Because of these closings, Grapevine's identity and sense of community has been lost.
This is the Grapevine Elementary School as it it appeared before closing in 1994.
