FORDYCE BATHHOUSE

Fordyce Bathhouse, located on the Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs, Arkansas, has a rich history within itself and in relation to the city of Hot Springs. Built in the Spanish Renaissance style by the wealthy and affluent Fordyce family in 1915, it was said to be "the most practical, complete, and luxurious bath house in the world." It closed down in 1962, and now the elegance and majestic beauty of the Fordyce Bathhouse is shared with Hot Springs visitors who come to tour the Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center. Below is a present-day picture of Fordyce Bathhouse.
